Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1: Chengdu(No Meals)

  Take your flight from home to Chengdu airport. Arrive at Chengdu. Be met at Chengdu airport and transferred to your Chengdu hotel to have a rest.

• Day 2: Chengdu(Breakfast/Lunch)

  Highlight:Panda Keeper Program

  Start your wonderful adventure to China from the panda home town. If you want to get close to giant pandas, you should not miss the Panda Keeper Program in Dujiangyan Panda Base. It is the only place where you can learn how to take care of the pandas, such as washing the bamboo shoots, breaking bamboos, seeing a panda be fed at a very close distance and so on. You will memorize this precious experience for a lifetime.

• Day 3: Chengdu -Leshan- Emei Mountain(Breakfast/Lunch)

  Highlight:Leshan Giant Buddha

  You will be transferred to Mt. Leshan for the Giant Buddha by car(2.5 hours). Then take the boat trip (about 30mins) to have an unforgettable panoramic view of the Leshan Giant Buddha. Keep on going your tour to an ancient town nearby (40 minutes driving distance). Take a walk around the town where traditional lifestyles still survive from the modernization. Later, continue the journey to Mount Emei and check into a hotel at the foot of the mountain or on the mountain.

  Take the scenic shuttle bus and cable car to reach the Golden Summit of Mount Emei. Admire the sea of clouds and sunrise (weather permitting), and pay respects to the Ten Directions Pu Xian Bodhisattva. On the way down, visit Wannian Temple, Qingyin Pavilion, and other attractions, immersing yourself in the serene beauty of Mount Emei. Then, return to Chengdu by a private car and check into the hotel.

• Day 5: Chengdu- Jiuzhaigou(Breakfast/Lunch)

  Highlight:Huanglong Scenic Area

  Take a high-speed train from Chengdu to Huanglong Jiuzhaigou Station. After lunch, start your visit to Huanglong, enjoying the spectacular plateau scenery along the way. Explore Huanglong. Walk along the boardwalks to view the magnificent travertine pools, including the Five-Color Pools and Huanglong Temple. Check into a hotel near Huanglong in the evening. Then be transferred to Jiuzhaigou by car. Reach Jiuzhaigou, check into the hotel, and take a break. You can wander around the neighborhood to acclimatize to the high-altitude environment.
